Windhoist is happy to announce the work has started on yet another project in Ireland - Esk Wind Farm, in Northern Cork. Ireland is perfectly situated on the edge of Western Europe to take full advantage of strong Atlantic winds, and we are happy to be involved in another site pushing them towards their commitments to renewable energy.

The site will be made up of two sets of four turbines (4 x Nordex N90 and 4 x Nordex N100) for a total of 23.2MW, generating enough electricity to power around 15,000 homes!

Thanks to Ian Farren for his continued hard work and commitment - we hope the weather calms down and can’t wait to see the finished project!
