Paul McDermott and his crew have successfully erected the first two turbines at Hedet, a site near Narpes, western Finland. At the low to medium wind site the hub heights of the turbines will be 135 metres.

Windhoist are responsible for the installation of 18 Nordex N149 /4.0-4.5 turbines.

The Hedet wind project is owned by Neoen and Prokon Finland, with stakes of 80% and 20%, respectively. The entire output of the wind farm will be sold to Google under a power purchase agreement (PPA).
