Ian Farren and his team are now past the halfway point with 9/12 turbines now standing tall.
The wind farm will consist of twelve Nordex N131 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), each featuring a capacity of 3.9 MW. The turbines will feature a tip height of 199.5 m, a rotor diameter of 131 m and a hub height of 134 m. When in operation, the wind farm is expected to generate up to 160 GWh per year. That is enough clean, green energy to power around 32,000 homes.
