Operations at the world’s largest offshore wind farm have started. Portside construction of 174 x 7MW turbines for the Hornsea One wind farm are fully underway as Windhoist have fully erected and populated 112 towers. The towers are now on their next journey as they are taken on vessels.
50 turbines are fully operational and when the project is complete next year, Hornsea One will power well over one million homes with clean electricity.
