Windhoist are keen to support the local community and were more than happy to oblige when we were offered the opportunity to sponsor Irvine Rugby Club Junior Team. Windhoist has a large office in Irvine, Ayrshire and several other depots throughout the world in places such as Ireland, Australia, Germany, South Africa and Morocco. Working with the local community is very important to everyone at Windhoist.

We are proud to announce we have recently sponsored Irvine Rugby Club Junior Team. Our sponsorship will assist in the development of coaching rugby to the youths of Irvine and the surrounding areas. Irvine Rugby Club engage with local primary schools, secondary schools and the local community of Irvine to promote active lifestyles, community engagement and lower social exclusion.

Irvine Rugby Club History

Irvine Rugby Football Club was founded in 1962 at Irvine Royal Academy. Until 1969 the team were known as Irvine Royal Academicals’, before changing to Irvine Royal Football Club. Since 1974 Irvine Rugby Football club has played home rugby at Irvine Community Sports Club and has played in the West of Scotland League and National Trust.

The Windhoist logo now appears on the front of all youth team strips. Keep a look out for our logo in the match day programme.
