Castlepook Wind Farm, Ballyhoura Forest in Co. Cork

 

With the end result of a capacity to produce electricity which will supply the equivalent of approximately 17,000 households, Windhoist are proud to be part of the Castlepook Wind Farm project in Ballyhoura Forest, Co. Cork, Ireland.

So far 9 of the 14 Nordex Gamma N90 R80 wind turbines have been erected, each with an overall maximum height dimension of 126 meters. Windhoist have an extensive fleet of cranes ready for deployment on each of our wind turbine projects. For this particular job we have been using our LTM 1750 which has a lifting capacity of 750t and an impressive maximum hoist height of 154m. We’ve also been using our good friends, BossLift’s Grove 250.
