Windhoist have recently purchased a Liebherr LTR 11200 crawler crane which is being despatched directly to a Vestas project in Australia to erect 37 no V90 wind turbines to a tower height of 80m. The addition of this large crawler crane to our already impressive fleet of mobile cranes puts us in an ideal position to offer our customers cranage solutions for every application.
The LTR 11200 is predestined for the erection of wind power plants. The concept of a telescopic crawler crane on a narrow track crawler chassis is optimal for moving the crane fully erected over the narrow roads of the wind power parks. The telescopic boom, the Y-suspension, the lattice fly jibs and as far as possible the slewing platform too are adopted from the mobile crane LTM 11200-9.1, which has proven itself at the erection of wind generators already.
Here is a picture of the first LTR11200 to leave the Liebherr factory and a picture of ours will be posted once it arrives in Australia.
